TWINS SYDNEY CONCERT
WOW,
I dragged my friend Cameron (B didnt go as she said it would be too noisy for the baby, 11 weeks to deleivery and counting)to see TWINS live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on June 3rd, I was so excited, B thought I was a nut for going as I am DEFINATELY out of their demographic, eg, White, 37 and can't understand much Cantonese! but I didn't care, it was amazing to see Twins in person,
Ah-Gil was either having a really bad day/flight/hair or something as she basically did the whole concert with hardly a smile, which was a shame as I kinda like her more than Ah-Sa, who was her usual bounce off the walls self, nice to see that happens ALL the time with her hahaha
They sang all my favourite songs ( Love Institute, The one from the sword fighting tv serial, the ballads etc) and the crowd went nuts many times.
I even managed to pat Ah-Gils shoulder as she came past our seats (we were down on the floor) surrounded heavily by security!
I even rang my wifes family in Hong Kong by using my mobile during the concert so that they could hear the Twins singing haha, they call me tseesinn for a good reason hahaha
The sadest part of the night was getting home and finding the friends digital camera i was using takes CRAP pictures! I couldn't believe how close I was to having them sing in front of me ( I wonder if they noticed the old gwailo in the audience?) and I only got a few pikkys, *sigh*
Anyway, it was good fun and then I went and got fish congee to take home to B so she wouldn't tease me about seeing Twins :)
I even took home my blow up pong-bong inflateable clappy thingies :)
All up, a truly fun night worth the $700 HK for the tickets
