Luke and I both pay 15 dollars a month to play a game that regularly makes us wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to begin playing (essentially, we have to wait in line to play)..

In the best case, we have to plan ahead if we want to play... like.. oh shit, i should be done with (insert something here) in a half-hour, I better go log in and ( Read more... )

I know all too well about server queues in WoW

Either re-roll on a different, west coast, PVP, server or wait for blizzard to open up world server transfers (whenever the fuck that is going to be) or wait for them to do the selective server transfer from your server to another.

I have stopped playing WoW till the expansion comes out. I actually stopped playing at the end of january.

(I started on a PVE server with Brad and our other friend Dan, they re-rolled on Blackrock after lvl 20, I stayed on the PVE till I got to lvl 40, got bored. Re-rolled on Blackrock, but since Blackrock had 20-45min queue times thurs-sun the 3 of us used the server transfer that opened up and moved to Bloodscalp.)

I took my time getting to lvl 60, took about 6 months. Since I was unemployed at the time I'd play for 6 or so hours a day. So I got to lvl 60, got exalted with Stormpike/AV, Got some epic gear from being exalted and got my epic ram mount, Got as many high-end enchants I could get. (+20 strength, +20 spirit, +15 agility...just to name a few) I had all but maybe 10 enchants in the game that were super rare and expensive on the AH or where from ZG/MC/BWL.

Basicly I got the point in the game that the only thing left was to join a good raiding guild that could at least do or starting to do MC. There was very few, IMO, good raiding guilds on Bloodscalp and most of the raiding guilds didn't have raiding times that were west coast friendly. Most of the raiding guilds on bloodscalp seam to be run by kids who think they are teh shit in the game.

Then I realised that I just spend the last 8 months playing a game and not really looking for a job. But I got randomly luckly and someone contacted me through my resume that I posted on craigslist and now I have a good job.
