Dead Body
I have to admit, every day is something new here at Lucas Hunt Village. Yesterday did not disappoint. I received my first dead body call. A resident called and was worried that she hadn’t heard her neighbor above her in a few days, and asked us to check on him. Sooooooooo….. My Maintenance supervisor went over there and called the office that we had a DOA (Dead on Arrival) So, cops were called, family was notified and I get to be the person to go to the apt and wait for the coroner…. So I’m there, family in the hall, me and 3 cops in the apt…. Apparently, they have to consider it a crime scene until a coroner says it’s a natural death. The body was on the floor, slumped over…. I must admit, I never thought this is what I would be doing when I signed on…..
