http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27821393/ eHarmony was forced to provide services for same-sex matches as well. I'm not going to comment as to how I feel about forcing a private business to cater to a particular audience (EDIT: I will add that this is really grey area. Is it the same as a gas station not letting you fill up because of your sexual orientation?). But, I will say that I find it amusing that Sean Hannity's dating service (Hannidate) has had a "men seeking men" option for years. Which brings up the question, how can you be LESS progressive than Sean Hannity? A follow up question...why would anybody want to use a service which went out of it's way to exclude them? It almost seems like if the KKK was forced to allow African Americans. Do you really think they'd flock to it after the decision was made?
Another EDIT: My suggestion. Instead of suing eHarmony, why don't those who do not support its practices refuse to do business with it instead? I don't see the logic in doing something that will actually help them do MORE business.
