Cuidaba sobre pájaros y las ardillas y los cigarrillos...coralita1641August 7 2007, 23:21:51 UTC
This post reminded me that I am SUCH a genius because, if I recall correctly, you immediately began growing a beard after I commented... and just look at you now!
I now have worked two days at Starbucks. The training is much different and far more thorough than I expected or even think is necessary, but at least there will be little opportunity for failure. I hope. There is a really nice man there named Shaun and he's been training me. I'm sad because tomorrow is his last day and I won't see him anymore. He said he might go to Kenya this winter, which I thought was amazing, and I really wanted to ask him why he wanted to go, but I got nervous about it because he's black. Now I never will know. Today Daniel Parker and Mark came in, without even knowing I worked there. They vowed to come by and visit me so I will not be as lonely. Tomorrow I have a class near the mall at Millenia called "The Starbucks Experience" and it will last from 3 to 8. I might have to take a bus home, which would be interesting and maybe a bit frightening because never before have I been on a real public bus.
What was your day like? I hope it was nice. I hope you didn't find sand fleas on yourself or in your car when you got home, and I really hope you didn't crash your car and die and never get home at all. I'm sure I would have heard about it by now if that was the case.
I'm sad because I won't get to spend lots of time with you and people this weekend because I'll be working so much... I'm even working Saturday night(despite me telling them I don't ever want to do that unless it's an emergency). I'm not working on Thursday, so I'll have to see what I can do with that as a weekend instead.
I wonder if you'll read this before I see you. Your chances for that are always much higher than mine. Well... I want you to have a good night. Bye. -Coral
