I love Band Marino, I love to dance there in the crowd and feel like I am part of a group of people, dancing oddly together, instead of an individual dancing awkwardly and getting disdainful looks (which is what usually happens to me). It was fun, so fun, but it was also pretty weird- and in more ways than one. I am glad I didn't go into the writhing mass with you and Tobin, because I would have died, even though I so wanted to... but I did love dancing next to Erin and Jen. I thought the show was better than last time, but the crowd was not, and so I tried to encourage Abe and Jesse and the rest by dancing as tumultuously as I could in the section where I was the only dancer. I hope your mother didn't get sick when she smelled the smoke on you. I thought the air was unusally breathable this time... I wasn't so sure I liked that over the usual impenetrable smoke, but it was for the best (especially since Ashley H. was there).
Lots of people who could contend with you and Joe for the title of Least Physical Person are good dancers. I know lots of men (especially in Miami- I am thinking of four right now) who hate sports and stuff like that, yet they are excellent dancers. I think dancing is something you could easily excel at (if you wanted to) because you understand music- and it doesn't take much more than a bit of rhythm to be a good dancer. You reminded me of a story about Joe Anderson- at the dance thing after your graduation and Mallory's, I danced with the Anderson boys for a very long time. Joe and I even went into the middle of a circle of dancing people (which I NEVER do!) and we did a little dance he made up called the Minimus. It was very funny, and now when I look back on it, rather strange.
I am going to Deluge on Saturday- please do give to me the mixtape you made. I will love it, JamesHenry, I will, I know it. I was just listening to one that Bobby made for us Watlers, and I nearly cried- it was so wonderful.
Last Saturday we went to Islands of Adventure, and I sang the chorus of "Such Great Heights" at the top of my lungs whilst riding Dr. Doom's Freefall (or whatever it is called).
Yesterday I received a letter from my two best friends, Mallory and Melinda. They got together just to pray for me and write me letters that communicate their love for me. I have the best friends ever.
In a few weeks (it would be next week but I think next week we'll be out of town) I am going to go to Titusville to make Sarina cut my hair. Bobby cut bangs after the concert, by the way, and now I need more hair chopped from my head. I will let you know so that we can hang out afterward- although I hope to never see Mookie again! Never!
Timmon never comes to work with me- it was crazy because I was just sitting at my desk, typing and cleaning things up, when Timmon walks in and just smiles at me, and pats my hand, like nothing unusual is going on. I hadn't seen a car pull up or anything... so that was confusing.
