mini update
here's a mini update. just the broad strokes people.

justin timberlake because of the song "My Love" (I sang it for like 3 or 4 days)

reading:
on the final book of my re-read of harry potter. though this is technically the 2nd reread of it because i started with the 5th book and then the 6th and then started from the beginning and wanted to read the whole series so i'm on the 6th again now.
halloween:
watched all 4 harry potter movies. the first 2 are definitely the best in alot of ways. prisoner of azkaban still majorly bothers me at parts. had some awesome indian food from a place i've been wanting to try for a while. best marinated chicken ever. drank butterbeer (harry potter drink, recipe on mugglenet.com - no actually beer was harmed in the making of this drink) and ate fizzing whizbees (harry potter candy that is an awful lot like pop rocks).
work:
is going fine. finally training for the managerial stuff. working alot. tips are always a good thing (yay cafe) might ask for a few days off in January.
Gre:
fine but still not studying as much as i should.
room redecorating:
put together my own night table (which is really one of those shelf 2 doored, organizers for your room). There's just something about using a drill and a hammer. the mission trip last year gave me an unnatural affection for drills :-).
friends:
miss all of you guys. I hope you're awesome and that I'll get to see you.
