Here's the update
Books a million is going pretty well so far. They asked me to take over the Cafe Manager position when the current cafe manager leaves which should be in the next few weeks. It's exciting/scary because it's more responsibility than I'm used to having.
I've started redecorating my room because it looks like a 5 year old's. I'm doing it on the cheap, not buying any new real furniture besides a mirror and shelves. Yeah, the only thing that was really probablimatic is that fact that the room is pink. Including the carpet. And though I like pink, my like for pink is not enough for a room that is all pink. So, I set about trying to figure out what the accent colors would be to try and compliment it since I really don't want to paint and I need my stepdad for that one which means it would take months. So, I decided to go with black and white. I actually designed the whole thing at work one day while I was bored up at the cash register using this book called The Paris Apartment. I like doing it because then I really will have my own space. Plus, drilling holes in the wall has been pretty interesting. I definitely would not have been up to this had it not been for last year's mission trip because I'd never used a drill before that and I got way more comfortable using the hammer. I took some before pictures and I'm going to take some after pictures so you guys can see it.
I have finally started studying for the GRE which is a good thing because I need some serious math review. The best thing about the review is that you'll know better what to expect on the exam such as the formulas they are going to expect you to know. I keep getting more and more excited at the idea of graduate school. I found this interesting one in London but it's only for a year and I decided that I really want to get the time to enjoy the whole thing.
Besides that I've got my really lame halloween plans decided already. I got this kit from work to make wizard shaped cookies and bought some Harry Potter Fizzing Whizbees and I'm going to have a Harry Potter movie watching marathon. Doesn't it sound excited? Well, even if it doesn't, I know I'll have fun.
