The past couple of days I've been sitting at work and it feels like when I go outside I should be greeted with the cool temperatures of fall with gorgeous clear blue skies. Instead I'm smacked in the face with heat and humidity. Boo. Why can't it be cooler out already!!! And the delicious pumpkin spice coffee that Michelle ordered for the office isn't helping my longing for fall either. It just puts me more in the mood.
Random odd thing happened to me yesterday...I went to the Curves in Dunedin as I'm still pet sitting for one of our clients who lives in Clearwater. The woman who was there was very cheerful and friendly and I enjoyed talking to her as she was vast contrast from the woman who was there on Tuesday that barely acknowledged me when I walked in the door. Somehow we got on the topic of weighing and measuring at the club, and she said that she always has people face away from her when she's measuring them and also uses the "10 inch rule" when measuring so that she doesn't touch people because you never know who may be offended by your touching them...which seems a little odd to me, because I honestly don't care, but I understand her thinking. However, she then proceeded to hug everyone when they were leaving, myself included. Am I the only one who's puzzled by this?
