Underappreciated...

Carl Sagan was one of the smartest men to ever live. I believe if every human on this planet sat down and watched "Cosmos" (all 13 parts of it), this world would be a much better place.

I totally agree. I've been watching "Cosmos" on The Science Channel, and I just can't get over how great he was. He had a way of taking the most complicated issues and making it so that anyone could understand what he was talking about. I've got a copy of his book, "The Demon-Haunted World," that I've started to read. It seems very promising.

Yeah. And he wasn't just talking about astronomy, either. I would watch it sometimes and get a history lesson, too. "The Demon-Haunted World" is next on my reading list, too.
