I'm sorry my condolences are so late. But I am sorry, I really am. I know what it's like to be that close to one's grandfather. I wish you and your family well.

Yeah, taps nearly did me in too. Thankfully, my composure was aided by the fact that they got the stupidest minister in town to speak at granddad's funeral. It's amazing what the constant urge to roll your eyes and/or throttle somebody will do to keep you from crying. >_

This may be belated but I offer my condolences. I was pretty close to my grandfather, too, and I still miss him.

Be safe.

I'm late offering my support too. In my opinion, only time helps, though it never completely heals nor should it, the scar is still there and sometimes itches and aches, but it's doesn't hurt. I still find myself missing those who are gone from my life, but it doesn't hurt like it did.

Let yourself cry sometime.

Oh no, how did I miss this? I'm so sorry my sympathy is coming late. I've lost all my grandparents and I know it hurts. *hugs* Let me know if there's anything you'd like to cheer you up or distract you. I'll be thinking of you.
