Good news, bad news
I'm actually going to do the bad news first. I'm sick. I seem to have caught miome's cold. Not that I'm too surprised given that jet lag and stress have been the tune for most of the week.
The good news? I sent in the 11 pages of the GIS portion of the proposal yesterday with a note saying let me know what changes need to be made. I got an email back saying not only is is perfect as is, but that the person in charge of the proposal appreciates the timeliness and effort I put into it. He sang my praises and them made sure to copy the email to both my boss and to the head of my place of employment. So yeah, I just got major brownie points at my job.
I love being appreciated.
