Happy end of the year...
Ironically, it's finals and I'm less busy than I have been for the rest of the year.
Went on a city-wide scavenger hunt today. Went to every corner of L.A., molesting public art, handing apples to homeless people, and photographing all of it for fun. I'm really going to miss this city...
Why am I less concerned with graduating than my parentals?
I've realized that I'm leaving behind alot of people whom I love and adore. It's sad, but wouldn't it suck if I wasn't sad to leave people. I feel like at some point I am going to become too old to appreciate this...
Went to the debate end of the year banquet yesterday. Super formal, with alumni dating back from the 40s there. Fucking deuchebags need to find something better to do with their time. I hope that I'm not going to be one of those people. THat being said, I ran into some old faces that I hadn't seen in a while there. Not that I miss all of them. It's like..really, you don't have to like everyone. The squad is so fucked up sometimes with its politics and negativity. I'm realizing that I don't have to like everyone or seek their approval. It's crazy to realize that some people actually liked the squad enough to come back and pay 125 dollars just to see old friends, dress uncomfortably, and sit through 3 hours of speeches. Even fell asleep through parts of it. Got a nice nap in and dinner..It was excellent....
