It's a karmaful week. Got a call back from Mr. Yamada, as I had left a message yesterday. It's still an open invitation, he virtually extended the offer on the phone, although officially no can do. Highlighted quote from the conversation:
"I'm going to talk to my chairman, and see if we can slip you in and by-pass that wanker this time". Japanese that have spent a significant amount of time in Oz are really cool people, as they've more attitude than Japanese normally do. I've met enough of them to notice a pattern here.
Mr.Yamada reminds me a lot of Dimitri, who would be the best boss I've had so far. These are the kinds of people that are great to work under since they're actually human, and drop a lot of the dual-persona bullshit that often dominates the business world. Thus, I'm much comfortable around such people.
Interestingly, Mr. Yamada is potentially hitting Gothenburg in August, small world.
Anyway, should be meeting with him at some point in the near future to figure out what can and can't be done.
I feel like I'm almost taking full control of my destiny now, feels pretty damn good since I almost had it slip through my fingers over the last half-year. Scary shit.
As I've stated before, I believe something's watching me.
My eyes should finally be healed by tomorrow. The effects are still slightly present, but with faaar less irritation. Took long enough. Ironically, after they're all healed, THEN comes the holiday (when I don't desperately need the rest to recover anymore). This is good, but it still is doing things the hard way. Well, the hard way has its rewards, so I'd say no complaints (I'm just too practical).
