Summary: Jared takes his and Jensen's daughter trick or treating. He comes home and schmoop happens. Basically, this is Halloween fluff.
“Arf, Arf, Arf,” the little girl bounced happily next to Jensen.
“Abby, hold still,” grumbled Jensen as he tried to put the face paint on her.
“I’m a puppy!” She squealed and continued to bark.
“I can see that,” Jensen said putting a little bit more paint on her. “Now, stay!” he commanded.
Abby froze up and stared at him with her big green eyes as he finished putting on the makeup.
“Excuse me, sir,” Jared said walking into the room, wearing a dog catcher uniform. “I believe I got a complaint about a loose puppy. Do you happen to know where she is?”
Abby screamed and jumped off the couch. She got on her hands and knees and crawled as fast as she could. Jared followed her slowly into the kitchen. Once he saw her heading for the still hot stove he swooped down and picked her up. “Gotcha, puppy!” he laughed blowing raspberries on her belly.
“Daddy, no!” she giggled.
“Do I have to get the leash,” Jared teased.
“No!” she screamed. Jared laughed and kissed the top of her head.
“Did I hear screaming?” Jensen asked coming into the room, resting a hand on his distended belly.
“Daddy’s being bad,” Abby pouted.
“Daddy’s always bad.” Jensen ignored Jared’s huff of “hey” and continued on. “Is Miss Abby ready to go trick or treating?”
Abby merely barked and wriggled in Jared’s arms as a response.
“I’m going to take that as I yes,” Jensen laughed fixing her ears.
“You two going to be alright?” Jared nodded to Jensen’s belly.
“Yeah, we’ll be fine. Jared, I’m only in my seventh month,” Jensen rolled his eyes.
“I just worry,” Jared answered, swooping down to give Jensen a light kiss.
“We’ll be fine. Now go before they give out all the good candy.” He gave Jared’s ass a light smack. Jared laughed and shook his ass out the door with Abby barking and wriggling in his arms.

Jensen was finishing cleaning up the kitchen when he heard the front door open, in walked Jared carrying a sleeping Abby in his arms.
“I’m going to go put her in bed,” Jared whispered.
“Let me help,” Jensen put down the rag and walked towards them. “I need to get that paint off.”
“Can I just do it?” Jared asked, adjusting her. “I just don’t get to see her that often.”
Noticing the look on Jared’s face, Jensen nodded. “Just make sure all that stuff is off her face. It’s a bitch to get off of pillows.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Jared grinned walking up to Abby’s bedroom. He still couldn’t believe that she was out of the nursery and into the big girl bed. She was already three years old and it ached Jared’s heart a little. He knew it was silly, but it still hurt a little to watch her grow. He wanted her to remain that little baby forever. She needed them less and less.
He cleaned her face off and loomed over her. “Goodnight, baby girl,” he whispered kissing her forehead.
“Night Daddy,” she snuffled, flopping around and falling asleep quickly.
“Want to tell me what that was all about?” Jensen asked as Jared walked back into the living room. Jensen had moved to the couch and was about to turn on a scary movie.
Jared flopped down beside him. He wrapped one arm around Jensen’s shoulders and rested the other on his belly. “It’s nothing. It’s just you get to spend all this time with her, and I don’t.”
“Jared,” Jensen said softly.
“I know. I know. It’s best to have one at home and one working. And since you are the one having the babies, it’s best that you’re home,” Jared sighed rubbing the bridge of his nose.
“Jared, is this about me being able to have babies and you not?” Jensen asked.
“No. I just wish I could have the connection that you have with them. I mean, Abby was inside you and then she spends all her time with you. Now, this one is inside you and the cycle will go again.”
“Jared,” Jensen said softly. “Abby doesn’t even give me half a thought. Though when you come home she is all over you. All day, I hear Daddy this or Daddy that. I should be the one jealous.”
Jared gave him a small smile. “I’m just scared that I won’t be in their lives like you are.”
“Who does Abby call for to get the monsters out of her bed? Who is able to calm down this one when he’s so active I can’t sleep? Jared, you are in their lives so much. You working just makes them more excited for you to come home. Not like me, I’m always there.”
“I love you so much, Jen,” Jared whispered giving Jensen a kiss.
“I love you too. You just need to get more confidence in yourself. The kids love you so much,” Jensen said turning on the movie. “Now we have a full night of snuggling and watching scary movies.”
“And maybe a little of something else?” Jared asked rubbing Jensen’s belly.
“We’ll see,” Jensen replied shortly.
“Come on,” Jared prodded. “It’s been like a whole week.”
“Fine,” Jensen sighed. “But you are sleeping in the wet spot and I demand a backrub.”
“I can do that,” Jared grinned pulling Jensen closer and stuffing a handful of popcorn into his mouth.
