I was going to write a lovely essay on Lore Kenning. I have the outline basically worked out and the main points jotted down ... and I am weary. Bone weary. I feel an incredible tiredness settling down over me like a mantle of frost. I want to vegitate. I really need the rest.
I've been reading Ross Nichols and Phillip Carr-Gomm. I rather like Nichols and the Carr-Gomm anthology is pretty entertaining. A great deal of it consists of a bunch of OBOD and RDNA people patting themselves on the back and sniping at each other with a little judicious boot licking thrown in for good measure. The widely despised Hutton, author of the battle standard of plaguan federation neo-fundies seems to be the only author in the book to have either read the other submissions. Caitlyn Matthews blithely submitted an article on 'celtic shamanism' after all of the others took turns satirizing and debunking the notion. I wonder if she even noticed ... Isaac Bonewits did his usual job of shameless self promotion ... at any rate, there are some bits of interesting information interspersed for those with eyes to see ...
