SN Ep & Picspam!! ~ Simon Said
as i said in my earlier post, if you posted a review, i read it. might not have commented, but i saw it. last night, bodgei came over, and there was SO much laughing! yaay!! and jediprincessdsv called twice to squee!!
so here's my spoilery thoughts on Simon Said:
first of all, i have decided to think of Jo as i said in my earlier post... "the daughter of John's friend." aaahhh, much more accurate. thing is, she has sucky taste in music, but whatever.
and Jensen!! singing!! granted, it's not my fav song by them (they also do "Take it on the Run." anyway.) the only thing i can come up with for Dean sing that awful song in the car is that it was stuck in his head and would NOT go away! it happens to me ALL the time. hee.
i loved loved loved the role reveral in this ep: when Andy does the mind-control thing in car with Dean telling all (and knowing he was doing it!!! *facepalm*), and Sam shocked and pissed at him.... and then later at the roadhouse, it's Sam that tells Ellen what the real deal is, and Dean all pissy.
and Ellen? while she did seem little bossy at that end scene, we don't know her history with John, and what he told her... and how long John knew her. hell, Ellen could know everything, and was just waiting to see if Dean or Sam would tell her... or what they'd tell her... if anything.
and Kripke is SO a Star Wars fangirl: the funeral pyre (ELaC), "full-on Obi-Wan'd me," "these are not the droids you're looking for." *flails*
and of course, the snark!
D: "i'm calling a do over!"
S: "what are you, 7?"
Me: Yes!!! *insane giggling*
