contrary to possible belief...
i have not dropped off the face of LJ.
there are a few reasons i'm scarce, the biggest being that i'm kinda lazy these days (months?).
♥i'm still crocheting, in fact i still work on part of whatever my current project is every day. you can check out my vast collection of crochet stuff at my Ravelry notebook. in fact, i tried to change the link at the top of my LJ (that right now says "crochet crafts" to my rav notebook, and my whole computer locked up on me! i had to hard restart it! (push the power button, wait for it to turn off, then push the power button again!))
♦ohmygosh how time flies - my older daughter, who i once refered to as "Little Miss J" - has started college! Decision Day - also the day where a tution deposit is required for most colleges - was May 1. well, "Little Miss Indecisive" decided on like April 28th where she wanted to go - Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. her 18th(!!!) birthday was August 28th, and then Move-in Day was saturday (8/29)! classes started monday, August 31st. it'll be an adjustment period, but i think she'll be fine. ☺
♣the younger daughter, who was once "Little Miss M" - and is now about an inch taller than me - had her first day of High School today! she's a freshman! eek! *glares sternly at Time and admonishes it for going so fast*
♠so i finished Dr Who in May. then i moved on to Farscape, and now i'm finishing up Andromeda - i think i have about 1/2 of season 5 left to finish. i'm glad i picked Andromeda to watch - it's only on YouTube, and i'm only down to one channel left that has all the episodes! eep!
♥after Andromeda, it's a toss-up between Torchwood and First Wave. and then after i watch both of those, i think it's onto Babylon 5 to wrap up all my rewatches. (or watch, in the case of Torchwood.)
♦where else am i? back in April, i discovered Instagram, and just went totally crazy posting there, but there too have gotten kinda lazy reading my feed and posting, but i'm trystan830 over there, and also check out my #trysedits. =)
