now that i'm done with Dr Who, i'll be rewatching some shows that i've meant to, but were just too lazy to get around to. the first is my on-going Forever Knight... which i started back in October of, uh... 2007.
anyway.
tonight i watched:
*"Father's Day" (2x10) and was reminded of how much of a jerk and ass Lacroix can be... and very certain of himself.
*"Can't Run, Can't Hide" (2x11), which included guest stars Von Flores (who later went on to have a good-sized role in Earth: Final Conflict) and Gordon Michael Woolvett (who later went on to be one of the many main characters in Andromeda (which is on my rewatch list))! also, Lacroix, Practical Vampire. Jeanette had a great line when Nick arrives at the Raven, he's a welcome relief from her - ..."Taxes. My accountant says they're inevitable, like death. He's an accountant... what does he know?"
*"Near Death" (2x12) - guest starring Amanda Tapping as Dr. Naomi Ross. huh. also, this is the episode where Nick sees what his soul looks like - yum!
*"Crazy Love" (2x13) - interesting to see how the psychotic murderer who assaults and possesses his victims is likened to the passion of the vampire, possessing their victims, and the bloodlust as well - leading to a delicious scene between Nick and Jeanette.
*"Baby, Baby" (2x14) - in which we learn that in certain situations, it's best that both people know what you're talking about - speaking literally vs. speaking metaphorically.
