sometime over the weekend (saturday, maybe?), i put Chrome for Android on my tablet. my tablet came with the Ice Cream Sandwich OS. it did some updating recently to the Jelly Bean OS.
i also downloaded my trusty AdBlock Plus.
and it worked fine Saturday through most of Sunday; but then last night (yep, Sunday night) it was giving me page time-outs and proxy server errors. after some frustration and pokes and prods at it, i turned off ABP, and the web pages loaded in nice and proper.
so i uninstalled ABP.
here's the thing. on my computers, there are some pages that i turn ABP off for; two are ad-free, one has ads are for small businesses that are relevant to the site. i didn't see any option on the Android ABP to turn it off on select pages.
so my question for those of you still out there is this: are there any (highly-rated, user-friendly) ad-blocking programs (that you trust) for Android tablets that will allow me to make an exceptions list? or does that just not exist?
thanks!
