1. a plane crashes on the border of the US and Canada. where do they bury the survivors?
you don't bury survivors - they're the ones who are still alive.

2. is there a 4th of July in England?
of course there is. it's just not Independence Day as it is in America. in fact, England doesn't have an Independence Day. heh.

3. how do you pronounce the capital of Kentucky - "Lou-is-ville" or "Loo-ee-ville"?
Frankfort.

1. A man rides into town on Friday, stays three days, and leaves on Friday. How does he do it?
Friday is the name of his horse/mule/motorcycle/car

2. A boy and his father are in a car accident. The father dies, but the boy survives, and is immediately taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. The surgeon then comes into the O.R. and says, "I can't operate on the boy, he's my son." How is this possible?
the surgeon is the boy's mother. (or, in the interest of changing times, the boy has two fathers, and this is the other one.)

3. A young woman calls her parents and cries, "My life is in ruins!" Both of her parents laugh and congratulate her. Why?
The woman is an archeologist - her career is studying ancient ruins.
