the DVD calls this one 1x14, yet tv.com has it as 1x15. oh well. here's the blurb from
tv.com: Pop star Rebecca has a new hit video in which she kills off her fans. When a fan's body is found in her hotel room is it life imitating art or just another imitator?
i love this one with Nick seeing himself in all of Rebecca's songs... and even on stage!! Nick's scenes are juxtaposed throughout with Rebecca's scenes, and they're just perfect.
the opening song, "Fan Kill" is pretty rocking. but here's a cool fanvid of one of the songs (and my favorite) featured in the epsiode, Dark Side of the Glass:

i just love what Nick imagines while this song is playing... so poignant.
this is the first episode we see Nick trying to eat something. 800 years without a french fry?? dang, it was a dream. :P
Nick's called in a little early, while the sun's still out. he suits up in a trench coat, hat, gloves, scarf over most of his face, sunglasses; and drives over to the precinct. when Schanke gets in the car, he's tallking a mile a minute before noticing Nick.
Schanke: Nice outfit. don't you think you're overreacting a little to this ozone thing?
Nick: Not really. Drive.
after Rebecca performs "The Dark Side of the Glass,"
Schanke snarks: Isn't that life or what? work 2 hours, make 10 zillon dollars and the whole world workships you. we, on the other hand, workour butts off 40 hours a week for zippo dollars and we're treated like Astroturf. She's got it made all right. what do you think it's like up there?
Nick: lonely.
Nick was at Woodstock... Schanke thinks Nick was there... in macreme diaper. heh. turns out, Nick was there -- with the Greatful Dead. hee!
i know i say my favorite FK episode is the one with Nick in it, but i think i favor this one just a little bit more.
