Definitely Mars - it's really obvious! I love the Planet Suite.

Yes, the Planets is a marvellous piece of music. There are places in it where Williams wasn't so much inspired by it as...just snatched large chunks. Well, okay, maybe not quite, but the similarities are quite noticeable.

If you ever get a chance to see it performed live, do! I hope to one day.

Little point of vague interest - Holst (who, despite the name, was English) lived for a while in a village called Thaxted, not far from where I used to live in Essex.
