FanFic Recommendation!
i've said this before: crossovers are an acquired taste. and it can be very difficult to explain how the two 'verses even got together in the first place, such as how the Winchesters ended up far into the future on a desert planet exorsizing demons from a spaceship - especially when Dean doesn't fly and we hadn't met the Trickster yet. the trick is getting the 'verses to mesh just the right way and keep everyone in character. while i like to think i get my crossovers "right," i am totally in awe of someone who can put together two 'verses so perfectly - especially if i only have basic knowledge of one of those fandoms.
bella8876 has been posting The Hollow Men for the last few months. at first it was once a week, and then it became twice a week, and i looked forward to every chapter. it's Supernatural up to the beginning somewhere of S5. it's Smallville, up to 8x22 - and i've only seen Season 4. it's got Dean and Sam, Chloe and Oliver, Castiel and Lois, Bobby and Martha... and Dean and Chloe - they're why i started reading it in the first place. and now that she's only got one more chapter left to post, i thought i'd pass the love of this fic on to my flist.
