Soulless Characters
my friends Ben and Aphrodite watched Buffy and Angel, and they've both mentioned that Angelus is a vamp without a soul. in fact, most vamps don't cast a reflection because they have no soul. i think Forever Knight vamps are an exception, due to the FX budget - or lack thereof. but there is an episode where Nick sees his soul, all decayed and icky, because he IS a vamp.
the Dark Hunters don't have souls either. well, kind of - their soul is held by the goddess Artemis. the vampires in Nancy A. Collins' world (the Sonja Blue series) don't have a soul either - it's been replaced by a demon.
In things you've read and watched, what else have you come across a character (like Angel) or group of characters (like the Dark Hunters) that doesn't/don't have a soul(s)?
