however, all i got on Okami is that it seems to be a PS game. heh. This is because they were (sort of) using the wrong word - kami means deity or spirit, the o is just an honorific that can be added to certain Japanese nouns in polite situations. ...Which is really funny coming from Bobby and Rufus. XD

It was also kind of a strange choice, they would have done better with youkai which denotes an evil creature. Even so, both terms are really categories of supernatural beings, not specific creatures. This time I think the show didn't quite do their homework well enough. XD; Aside from that, I loved this episode! Bobby is such a great character, it was nice to have an episode centered on his life.

"no, not me the FBI, the real FBI!" This bit cracked me up so much.

that is interesting, yeah,

the show didn't quite do their homework well enough
not really - this is what i call "Kripkeology" - they take just enough of a myth and add that extra special Kripke-twist to it. =)
