Willy Wonka Ain't So Special...I Built A Chocolate Factory In One Night!
My body clock is severely messed up.
I worked over night (starting at 2:30am) sunday, building a fake chocolate factory in a BREWERY (oh to be taunted by sooooooo much beer.....sigh) for a Twix commercial. Was a very, very long night, lifting and moving a great deal of heavy metal machinery. I managed to finish up just a little after NOON and headed home to crash. Of course the neighbours were doing very loud renovations...It's like they know I'm trying to sleep. I eventually passed out around 2pm and stayed unconscious til around 10-10:30pm. Had a little something to eat and then headed back to set for 1 am to tear down the set. Thankfully we managed to finish that by 6 am, so we only got RAINED ON for a couple of hours. Brutal.
I can't sleep all day today, since I have to start on another job tomorrow morning, but I did sleep til 1pm so that's not so bad.
It may have been tiring and labor intensive, but it was SO worth it. The factory looked pretty cool, with conveyor belts and blasts of steam and Twix bars EVERYWHERE. I am actually looking forward to seeing how it looks on TV. Let me know if you spot it.
(*Side Note: I think I may now be diabetic atfer the insane amount of Twix bars I have eaten.)
