My unsuspecting hero
Well I thought that my last two days were busy and meaningful but I've been overshadowed a bit. All I'll say is that I'm trying to juggle both the Jewel and Sunrise jobs at the same time and I hate the former and love the latter.
But what I really have to say is that I am in awe of my girlfriend. Her mom got her finger caught in a heavy door and almost severed yesterday and Melissa has been helping her throught that, pretty much alone. Melissa had to deal with lazy/incompotent doctors, an hysterical mother among other things, a position which would put most full adults at the end of their rope. Besides that she's been dealing with keeping the rest of her family running, next of kin stuff and just the whole impact of this, all by herself. And what's more is that she's doing it so well, she managed to yell at a room full of doctors to get them to help her mom. She, of course doesn't think too much of all this but I am just so humbled by it, she is truly setting an example that I would only hope I could come close to follow for dealing with bad situations. She's my hero.
And that's really all. I hope that everything gets sorted out with her by prom because if anyone deserves a good time on her birthday and prom, it's Melissa.
