Damn I love Montana. Yesterday was 56 degrees, this morning I woke up to a couple of inches of snow on the ground. All of the trees are covered in white and it is just so pretty. This is our 3rd or 4th snow of the season already and it's only Oct. It's actually kinda early to be getting as many snowfalls as we've had.

My hunter friends are dancing a jig, I'm here to tell ya. I guess the snow drives the game (deer/elk/moose) down out of the mountains, making for better huting for the guys. Some guy drove down the street the other day with 2 HUGE elk in the back of his truck. The racks were enormous! I'm sure he has one happy family :)

Things going well here. Really looking forward to seeing Keegan, Kat, and Sacha for Thanksgiving. We're going to have a full house for Thanksgiving dinner. Them, us, Mom, Rob and Chris, and then Chris's side of the family. We'll be doing the holiday dinners here since our house can accomodate lots of people and the older folks on both sides of the family really don't like driving over the pass to get out to Rob's place in the winter. Can't say that I blame them. That pass (Cardwell Hill) isn't all that steep, but it is very long and sloping. Add a bit of ice and you have the perfect setup for a nice accident. Too bad Keegan and Kat won't be able to make it back for Christmas, but Keegan has to work. Oh well, 'the needs of the military' and all that shtuffs.

Kiki is doing well. Precocious, as usual. Definitely a strong-willed child. Unfortunately for her, Nana is even more stubborn. And I'm bigger :)
