Since you've been gone...
Its funny how the people closest to you seem to be able to suck the most out of you. I feel empty. I can't have conversations anymore that relate to anything other than what my life and my job dictate. Everyone is on a different page it seems these days.
And I can't seem to be excited about anything but how the year is going to pan out. Now THAT is sad.
Kelly Clarkson was off the hook last night. Loads of fun. Not only did she cover "Movin' on" by Rascal Flatts (one of my favorite songs EVER) but she also covered "Why" by Annie Lennox. Both those songs are fairly emotional and it made for a thought-provoking night. It was good to see to see everyone. Interesting crowd but fun, none the less.
I don't really have much else to say without going off on people and situations. I've always been told if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all... and that's all that I will say.
In closing... some people are dillusional. Get it together for God's sake.
