Tyrion, Fauns and Holidays

A holiday, a holiday, and the first one of the year
(Financial, anyway.) Kat and I are going visiting: my very favourite friend, my very favourite ex, and the AP's (first, natch), may the weather stay good. I have left the Narnia window unfinished, Mr Tumnus looking like something out of the movie Delicatessan (although face, hands and hooves are done) and am trusting my dearly beloved staff to finish on time for installation two weeks hence.
Leads me onto DB staff (and they are, a better bunch of people I could not wish for) who produced an early birthday present of chocolate cake (bless) and, er, altogether far too well informed, this:

I will finish Misrule. I will also finish Consanguinity, which as it exists at the moment in longhand, deliberately, will travel. But just now I am lighting the fire, pouring the wine, putting Frankie Armstrong on the stereo and opening the new George R.R.Martin. It's a Tyrion thing.
May the next two weeks be as good for you as they will be for me.
