Christ, It's April already. I'm back living with my parents again now, doesn't look like I'll be moving anytime either as I can't afford the rent on a place. Oh well.
Still working at RTA. It's starting to bite a little bit now. Even the interesting work has become a little boring, and no one else is doing Admin yet. Here's hoping this futureworks course leads somewhere, eh?
Speaking of everything else I'm doing at the moment, it's all driving me a bit insane. Something else I really miss about working at college is the holidays. You can catch up on life and have a bit of time to oneself. Yeah, not anymore. All this everything else isn't helping either.
There was an interesting David Mitchell opinion piece in the Guardian today. It was about aspiration, about wanting to change for the better. About how even admitting you aren't happy with yourself is a sign of failure. I suppose another issue would be that; what happens after you've changed? After you've got the new job and the new body and the new life. What then?
