whoa... Big step
Derek asked me to go to Nicaragua with him and his family a few days ago. That's really no big deal, though, because he always asks me. But last night his parents asked me if I wanted to go this christmas vacation when the entire Haley clan (Mom, Dad, Derek, Gab, Anabel, and Barbara) all go. Hmm.... 6 people in a three bedroom house. Now add me. How would this work? Also, add to the fact that I am not a member of the family, and this is a family vacation. Barbara's husband isn't even going, but that's kind of a different situation since they eloped and the parents only met him once. Oh, just to clear something up, all of Derek's sisters are in their late 20's. Anyways, this isn't saying that I don't want to go to Nicaragua, I would love to, and would love to go with the Haleys, but logistically I don't know how it would work. Plus, airfare is close to $600. That's a lot of lifeguarding and babysitting. But that isn't even the hard part. The hard part is getting my mom and dad to say yes.
