Taking a break from packing

So it's the last few hours that I get to spend in Thurston as a resident. At 5 pm, today, I leave for home, for summer, for four months. I don't exactly know how I feel about it. On one hand, I'm really excited to go to Connecticut for the summer, since it's so beautiful there. Not to mention I get to see Derek almost every day. But I'm really going to miss my roommates (both future and soon to be past) and all my friends. I'm going to miss having amazing people living 5 feet away from me.
College is amazing. Everyone should get to go. And, everyone should live in Thurston. It's an experience all to itself, and I just know that when I am living in Crawford next year I'm going to miss having 100+ on my floor. I think Crawford has about 15. Blech.
This summer will be great though, I'll be working my butt off. I might be taking Physics over the summer so I can finish my GCR requirement of a lab science. Also, I will be lifeguarding, (hopefully) waitressing, and babysitting. Fit in somewhere "visit friends" and "Derek" and I'm all set. Speaking of the D man, I haven't talked to him in 5 days. This is the longest it's ever been. Well, I hope he's ok, and hasn't died or anything, becuase that would be bad.
So, to summarize, in case you didn't want to read all that: College: good, summer: good, derek not calling: bad, and Charlotte will miss everyone very much!!! I love you guys.
