Why Must This Story Be Read?
I'm frankly surprised this hasn't been recced yet. This is definitely one of the crowning epics of the Roy/Ed ship. Fantastically well-written and novel-length, it's one long hell of a read. Edward returns to Amestris with amnesia and all four limbs, a different identity, and different skills four years later at a time of political upheaval. The alchemy here is so detailed and wonderfully crafted, unlike most FMA fics where the significance of alchemy isn't that important.
