If I may be shamelessly self-promoting, I wrote a "rewrite" of wicked_pistil's fabulous story for last year's "Remix Redux" challenge. It's called From the Very Private Notebook of..., and while it's essentially the same story, the nature of it is, um, very different.

I. . . don't know why I liked it (possibly because I think the only way L and Light can actually get together is in an AU), but it entertained me, so I figured I'd put it here. ^_^

For L - Something Wicked This Way Comes by Aishuu. I'm a sucker for a good AU, and this definitely falls into that category.

For Gaara - Water Displacement by two_if_by_sea because the writing is gorgeous and the Gaara/Naruto pairing is just wonderfully done.

Also, Diplomatic Relations by Maldoror because it converted me to Lee/Gaara.

Oh, and Heal by gelfling8604 because it's such a nice cap to the whole Gaara arc, and it fed my Lee/Gaara obsession. ;)
