Homemade Laundry Detergent
Here's my recipe for laundry detergent:
1 bar of grated home made soap
1/2 cup borax (Mule Team)
1/2 cup washing soda (Arm & Hammer)
Melt in 6 Cups water
Add to 2 gallon Bucket (with a lid!)
Add 4 cups hot or boiling water-stir
Add 1 gallon cold water
Let sit for 24 hours. Stir again before using
Add Essential oils at the beginning for scented detergent.
And that's it! I really like making my own detergent, it's easy and all the ingredients are pronounceable! :-)
I've posted it here in case I ever lose my copy of the recipe, but if it's beneficial to anyone else, I'm glad for that, too!
