A winner is me! I have finished my last inpatient chemo. All that's left now are two more outpatients, some various scans, and the pulling of the port. Am looking forward to vacation in Vermont muchly. Alas, I did indeed find out that all this is not without small sacrifice; my hearing is more than likely permanently damaged. It's just the little things, thankfully. Reaaaally high frequency stuff (like a thermometer beeping) doesn't register anymore. I think the worst thing to come from that is the effect on music. I've noticed lately that a lot of the songs and albums I used to lay back and have flow over me sound kind of flat nowadays. Here's to hoping it'll come back sometime down the road.
