(no subject)
OK... so like a million things have happened since I last updated, but of course I waited too long and I'm sure I've forgotten half of them by now. I do know that this is my first update on my new laptop!!!!! I absolutely love it!! I got a Mac to get Jason, Erik, and Jackie off my back..... joke.... but seriously it's really cool! I even have wireless internet now!!
I finally started my first case at my practicum!! I was really nervous at first, but I really had fun with it!! I'm almost a psychologist!!!! If I can ever get out of school that is!! Julie is joining my grad school adventure though... she got into the grad school at ISU the other day!!! And she and Erik just bought a house!! This girl has everything.... I'm so jealous!!!
Colin and I are actually making some progress on the wedding plans... only 240 days left!!! We still have a lot to do of course..... but I think I may have my dress, which is the thing I was worried about the most. Yes... I said dress.... once in a lifetime opportunity... tickets only $1595!!!
We've been looking at townhomes and houses in the Western suburbs for when we get married. It'll be a little closer to school and much closer to work for Colin, but still the same distance to both of our parents' houses.... so it seems like a good compromise.
I am so freaking busy!!! I have school, plus homework, plus practicum, plus report writing for practicum, plus working for my grandmother and/or Cliff!!!!! Pretty much every second is accounted for!!! Unfortunately I'm totally broke so I need to keep working. Being poor sucks!!!
