(no subject)
Now I have a nephew and a niece!! Lisa had her baby on tuesday.... Jaedyn Marie. Her hair is like an inch long!!! My mom thinks it will all fall out though... and grow in again... that's what Lisa's did.
I've been doing pretty well in school this semester... not to toot my own horn (I never understood that phrase... who else is going to toot your horn?)... but I was the only one in my CBT class to get a "perfect" 100% on a recent paper. I've gotten A's on everything so far this semester in fact. Today we got back our Rorschach scoring exercises that the professor had been telling us all semester... no one will do good on these... expect to get a "C" or lower..... I got an "A"!!!! Maybe I can do this grad school thing after all!!!!
Colin and I are going to see Wicked in May, here in Chicago. We're hoping to get a big group... so if anyone would be interested in getting a ticket... let me know and we can order them all together!!!! In case you don't know... Wicked is a broadway musical and is kind of the prequel to Wizard of Oz... It's the story of the witches when they were in school together as teenagers.
I've had a couple of practicum interviews... the next is on thursday.... those three are really my top choices too, so I almost hope I don't have any more. If I don't GET any of those, however, that could be a problem!!! We hear back from sites on March 28th... so we'll see!!!! I hate waiting........
BE COOL (starring John Travolta) was absolutely fabulous!!!!!! And NOT just because John was in it. It's a very satirical comedy... with some more obvious comedy thrown in for the masses.... Elmore Leonard is absolutely brilliant!!!! I literally shed some tears at the end because it was soooooooooo good!!!! I know... I'm a geek... but I haven't seen a movie this good in a while.... Everyone should go see it... but SEE GET SHORTY FIRST!!!! Many of the jokes relate back to Get Shorty... so you're missing out if you don't see it first. Happy movie going!!!!
