Terms
Zones: A temporal and spacial distortion created by a Noah or several level four akumas. Physically they take up only five square miles of an area in any given direction, however due to their very nature the inside is hardly as small or even remotely like the area it has been created in. As a general rule they are always infested with Akuma and any unfortunate humans who have been chosen to be harvested by the Zone creator for the Akuma making egg.
Taint: Innocence that has been sacrificed by the Order to help breach and defeat both Zones and the Noahs that normally create such. Made by infusing an Innocence with the blood of a true Noah, after the Innocence has been broken down to it's basic components by Hevlaska. Once the blood has been absorbed the Innocence is reshaped and given to its Conformer via a very complicated surgery; outside of parasite types the surgery tends to leave deep trauma either physically, emotionally, or both if there are any hiccups in the operation.
Actors: Exorcists who through a very strict list of criteria are chosen to pretend to be Noah in a long term infiltration mission that has changed dramatically since the ruse was found out by the Earl and Noah. Now the Actor's main objective is to breach the barriers of Zones and dismantle them, either through the death of the Noah or Akuma holding the Zone together, or by taking over the Zone via subterfuge or manipulation.
Wild Cards: By the general standards it is a term for an Actor who through the project gained abilities not part of the normal parameters for the project. If not a reference to any mutations within a Modification. In the realms of the leaders of this group and CROW, Wild Cards is the name to label Exorcists who did not actually need their Innocence to become Taint. In other terms unawakened Noah.
