TODAY KICKED CONSIDERABLE AMOUNTS OF ASS. FOR SERIOUS.
First off: Lizzy I got your text at like five in the morning. Did you mean to text me?
So we went on the bus, right, and then on another bus, and Nikki nudges me and glances at a kid a few seats ahead of us. he's pulling out The Watchmen. I squee internally and glance at his sdlfhksjadfh face. Blonde, Shawn Harris-esque hair out form underneath a fedora-style hate, blue eyes, and just generally attractive. Right, so, I drool over him, mourn as he goes the opposite direction from us, update Twitter about him, and forget he exsists.
So then we wander Metrotown for hours. I ended up buying Who Killed Amanda Palmer? and two black tank tops. Whooo. Anyways, there was a Canuck doing a signing and some new up-and-coming poptart at HMV, so that was cool. I saw about... three? Cobra shirts becuase the concert was last night. I was sad. Anyways so then we got tired and kinda bored so we headed home. (After fighting the ticket machine for an hour.)
So we're on the bus, and Nikki nudges me, nods her head at the front of the bus and sasy "There's the guy with the yellow book."
yeah, I pretty much died. He didn't read it the entire second ride, but omg, I was freaking out because he went the other freaking way from us, and it's not like it was a little community bus, it's one of the biggest runs this side of the river. And we were gona for a really long time. It was crazy.
Then I came home and watched Panic's Much interview. OH BOYS. I cannot believe Sarah (Taylor, VJ) asked them about their freaking musical influences. I actually fast-forwarded through it. And then... hmm. Spencer gave himself a moustache for his birthday (uuuum guys?) and according to Jon, the most essential tour item is hot dog buns. And Sarah was like "And fresh hot dogs?" and everyone was like "Hot dogs..." but then they were like "No, that's not the answer at all, that was wrong."
And apparently Pete is telling Ryan he's going to take over everything once the baby comes. Ryan's playing bass on Fall Out Boy's next tour, trufax. And their fashion influence is their parent's closets, and Spencer was like "We go all over the world... We just shop."
I wanted to buy a Obama t-shirt so so badly at the print-a-t-shirt place. But I was feeling really rushed so I didn't. I'm so scared. So, so scared he won't get in. If Prop 8 is passed? I'll be upset. It won't be a good thing, and hey, it means that the Gay Community of Vancouver will stop making sadfaces about the lost tourism revenue. But if McCain is elected? I think my heart will actually break.
I also really wanted a Mikey/Sarah t-shirt, but then I realised I'd need a Mikey/Gabe, and a Mikey/Pete, and then a Mikey/Alicia. So ended up with nothing :(
