Mr. and Mrs. Richard Van De Kamp celebrated the baptism of their son, William Michael, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Barton last Sunday. The Sacrament of Baptism was conducted by Father Henry Marshall. Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Devane are the proud godparents of the baby boy.
After the ceremony, guests celebrated at the Van De Kamp farm in Hallis. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. John Devane from San Diego, California and Miss Julie Van De Kamp from Denver, Colorado. The guests were treated to Mr. Van De Kamp's famous barbecued beef, campfire beans and a coconut cake made by Mrs. Charles Johnson.
