Supes!
I saw Superman Returns on Saturday, and everyone should go see it. It's one of the most visually amazing movies you'll ever see. I liked the story and the acting too, but let's face it, it's about the action when you're talking about Superman. Brandon Routh did a real good job as Superman, and Kevin Spacey was a good Lex Luthor, although not quite as insane/scary as I thought he would play him. It's definitely a movie theater experience though, preferably on a big screen with good surround sound. Oh and they show the 1st teaser trailer for Spider-Man 3, which is worth the price of the ticket by itself. I'm not kidding. So go see it, right now. I wanna go again soon.
Ella and I have been together for two years now as of yesterday. It's been the best two years of my life, I can honestly say that. And I'm excited to keep moving forward with her and see what happens from here.
Sounds of the Underground is a week from Friday at the Tweeter Center. I can't wait to see As I Lay Dying and Killswitch Engage. And Converge, and The Black Dahlia Murder, and GWAR again hahaha. It's gonna be fun. It'll be good to hopefully hang out with Justin too.
The Strhess Tour is on August 12th at the Palladium, and we got tickets to that too. Shadows Fall, Zao, Still Remains, Poison the Well, It Dies Today. That's gonna be fun. Those will probably be my only two shows this summer unfortunately, but we're trying to save money, and I guess that's a good area to cut back on. Normally in the summer I go to shows like every other week, but I can deal with it. Kids at shows are annoying anyway. I feel old when I go now. I like to go and see the bands perform, but the kids annoy the hell out of me.
I guess that's about it. I'm on vacation from work so I'm pretty psyched. I don't go back until Tuesday the 11th. Very nice.
