I did. Father gave them to me when I was a child. They were a Christmas present. He taught me how to train them, and they've always been a part of the family.

I'm going to miss them both very much...

You're right... I just have to try and focus on all the good memories we made together. And many one day, I'll get a new dog...

That's right. It won't be a replacement, but you'll be able to make even more good memories. You loved them and they loved you; that's what matters.
