Suffice it to say, Kaito and Hakuba's plan went off without a hitch. When Dojima brought the two teenagers to the Shirogane estate, the last thing Naoto expected was to be greeted by a host of people jumping out and yelling "Surprise!" She'd never admit it, but they'd nearly given her a heart attack...
It was several moments before Naoto could formulate an articulate response. "Wh-What is this? I thought you said no surprise parties!"

Despite her indignant outburst, the flush suffusing her face appears to be more from embarrassment and pleasure rather than anger. Her friends obviously went though a lot of trouble to set this up... The parlor and front room was beautifully decorated. Gifts were neatly arranged on a nearby table, along with a cake.
Okay, she'll bite. Maybe a surprise party wasn't such a bad idea.
