We did it. We won...
The sky has never looked more blue than it has on this cold winter's day. It feels good to see the sun again, after all this time.
Today marks the beginning of the rest of our lives.
Everyone... Let's ensure a future where the Lord of Fog will have no reason to descend on our world ever again.

I feel so incredibly happy! This is going to be the best Christmas ever. I can't wait to see Dojima-san and Nanako-chan.

Everyone is back to normal, and none the wiser. No one will ever know how we saved the world from a slow annihilation. But that's okay. All that matters is that everyone is safe and sound.

And you? No one was seriously hurt in the climactic battle?

Well, we're none the worse for wear, though there were a few close calls toward the end of that battle. But that's to be expected when you're fighting against a cosmic entity. Good thing we have Yukiko-senpai and Teddie to offer magical healing!

...it's a bit sad that Adachi-san won't be able to celebrate with everyone. To think, if we had never identified him as the true culprit, Dojima-san and Nanako-chan probably would be celebrating with him this year...

But that doesn't excuse what Adachi-san did to those two women. Even so... I wonder what sort of events drove him to become such a bitter and despairing individual... the perfect pawn for the Lord of Fog's schemes...

I suppose this case is going to hinge on whether Adachi-san confesses to his crimes or not... There's no doubt that with all the circumstantial evidence we've gathered, there will be a shadow of doubt cast over his character.

It's hard to say what Adachi-san will do at this point. Since beating him in battle, he has become listless and apathetic. He would have gladly allowed the Shadows to devour him, had we left him in that world. It's hard to say whether he feels any remorse for his crimes, but it's apparent that Adachi-san is going to accept his punishment, whatever that may be.
