[RL with Adachi, Dr. Birkin, and Dr. Stein] Let me show you my laboratory!
Dr. Shirogane was exceedingly pleased to know that there were others who could enter this world besides those insufferable children that were trying to put a stop to his glorious plans! Nao-kun stirred impatiently in the back of his mind. Napping, for the moment, but ready to make his presence known at a moment's notice. He was just as excited to meet these strangers as the adult personality who was currently dominant.
The scientists were interesting, to say the least, but he'd have to watch himself around the one called Dr. Stein. Nao-kun (foolish, needy little brat that he was) had agreed to let the good doctor examine him, and the adult aspect was none to pleased with this. But he could appreciate a healthy level of curiosity, and so he'd see how things played out. If the scar-faced man tried to hurt Nao-kun, well... he'd no longer be capable of performing surgery. After all, you needed all ten fingers for that sort of work.
But as Dr. Shirogane stood outside the entrance to the secret base, his thoughts focused on Adachi. Yes. The Fool with two faces... Very intriguing indeed. The one who could manipulate this realm just as easily as any Shadow. Yes. He knew about that one. The Lord of Fog would be very pleased with the young detective's work in their realm...
So, he had no reason to think that detective would have any trouble locating the secret base. He stood with arms folded over his chest. Waiting...
