File 20 - Halloween Party Planning
Well, I heard that there's going to be a Halloween party coming up soon. I plan to attend, but I want to know if any of my other friends are showing up as well.
I'm still deciding on a costume. I was thinking of dressing up as Admiral Miles Naismith from Lois McMaster Bujold's The Miles Vorkosigan Saga but I don't think many people would recognize the classic pulp 80's sci-fi reference. Not only that, I'd have a hard time finding cast mates... unless Kanji-kun wanted to dress up as Sergeant Bothari and act as my personal bodyguard (the height difference would work to my advantage this time!).
What are the rest of you going to dress up as? We should make plans to meet up together.
