[If the past few weeks have been a blur for Brennan, they've literally happened in the blink of an eye for Angela. Sleep is something she rarely gets between waking up for feedings and worrying, Angela has been losing sleep. Hodgins, of course, has been great, offering to get up and take care of the baby when he can but yes, the work falls on her mostly. And it's a job she's never once regretted.

But Angela is happy to have a quiet moment with her friend as the baby naps, the buzzing not noticed, thankfully as she buzzes her friend in] Come on up, the door's open.

[Rather than responding, Brennan does what Angela says and makes her way to her friends' apartment. She knocks once before pushing on the front door and entering.

The smile on her face is unmistakable when she walks inside. She holds out the box.] I brought something for Michael.

Hey, sweetie. [Angela goes to greet her friend with a hug, she's still somewhat sore and probably looks pretty tired but she's happy. And she's still glowing.] Really? What is it?

[Brennan hugs Angela back tightly. She understands the glowing phenomenon now. Although she knows the underlying causes relate to hormonal change, she's felt like glowing ever since telling Booth her news.]

It's a projector. [Brennan smiles sheepishly.] Booth convinced me that, however anatomically incorrect the animals are, Michael will still enjoy it.

[She takes the box and grins, inspecting it.] This is perfect. Absolutely perfect. Thank you. [She grins and hugs her friend before pulling back with a conspiratorial grin] Okay, spill. How are things going between the two of you?

Booth and I...

[She hesitates, almost reluctant for a moment to tell Angela the developments. But that's a good part of the reason why she came here. And it is something she's been wanting to do for a while.]

I'm pregnant, Ange.

[Angela almost drops the gift, her eyes widening as she tries to figure out if she actually heard what she did. Opening her mouth, it closes again before she just smiles, so wide] Really? Oh, sweetie! [And here comes a big hug]

[Brennan laughs and she's just about to ask Angela if she's going to say anything when her friend does reply, and pulls her into a big hug. She returns it and beams at Angela when she pulls away.]

We conceived seven weeks ago. The pregnancy was confirmed by my gynecologist during the murder investigation with my father's bowling team.

It's... it's going to change so much. [And this is where the smile falters a little as worries get the better of Brennan.]

Sweetie! That's, that's... I don't even know what to say! [Her hands are clasped and she looks so joyous right now.

Until she sees her friend's smile falter] This isn't a bad thing is it?

No! [She protests quickly and shakes her head, holding out her hands and smiling wide again.] No, it isn't! I... have my apprehensions, Ange, but the look on Booth's face when I told him...

I can't remember ever feeling that happy before.

Oh my God, you guys are having a baby.

[She smiles, ducking her head.]

I wanted you to be the first to know.

I'm so... I just... This is amazing, so amazing.

I only hope Parker agrees with your sentiment. Booth and I intend to tell him at dinner tonight.
